Frequently asked questions
When should we contact you to book a date?
Most couples contact me between 6 months and a year before their wedding. But be careful! I only open about ten dates per year. So, if you love my photography style and approach, I recommend reaching out as soon as possible to make sure your date is still available—especially if your wedding takes place during peak season (May to September).
Do you travel all over France?
I mostly work in the wider Lyon area, but I will gladly follow you to capture the most beautiful moments of your destination wedding in South of France, Burgundy or in the Alps.
How long do you stay on the wedding day?
Everything will depend on your wishes and your budget. Since I take a storytelling approach, I love capturing your wedding day as a whole—from the preparations to the evening celebration—which typically amounts to around 12 hours of coverage.
Unlike many professional wedding photographers, I enjoy capturing the dinner and the party in the evening, especially thanks to the creative possibilities offered by off-camera flashes!
It is also possible to include:
- An engagement shoot before the wedding day,
- Coverage of the next-day brunch,
- And even a photo report of your civil wedding at the town hall if it takes place on a different day.
Will we meet before the wedding?
Of course! This is very important because choosing a wedding photographer is not something to be taken lightly!
If we are geographically distant, we will at least have a video call—to get to know each other, but also to go over all the details of my service: schedule, locations, instructions, etc.
The goal is twofold: for us not to be strangers on the big day and for me to be fully autonomous when it comes to logistics. This will also include signing a contract outlining all the general terms of my service.
How will I discover my wedding photos?
The photos will be delivered four weeks after the wedding. You will then discover your photo report through a private online gallery, which you can share with your guests in just one click! You will also be able to download the full report and order prints directly from the gallery.
How many photos are included in a wedding reportage?
The photo gallery will include around 400 photos for a full wedding day—more if you have booked an additional session outside the big day.
Every photo goes through a careful selection and post-processing. This is what truly defines a wedding photographer’s artistry. This work brings everything together, ensuring a cohesive and compelling storytelling experience, both narratively and aesthetically.
What happens if your camera breaks down? Or if you can't make it?
I always come with a camera in each hand! Plus, I have backups for everything—flashes, batteries, lenses, and more. There’s zero risk of being caught off guard! This is one of the essential guarantees that a professional wedding photographer must offer their clients.
I’ve already covered weddings while being sick, right after a sprain, and even following a car accident! I’m quite resilient and enduring, but if something ever prevented me from being there on your big day, I would simply pick up my phone and reach out to the many professional wedding photographers in my network to quickly find a solution.
We are a tight-knit community, and we would never leave a couple without a photographer on their wedding day!
Is a photo album included with the wedding reportage?
Yes! The very essence of a photographer’s work is to be printed, not left forgotten on a computer hard drive!
I collaborate with a Scottish provider to create your wedding albums, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship. You will also have the option to order photo prints directly from your private online gallery.
How did you learn english?
Although I was born and raised in France, I have Scottish origins and family members in the United Kingdom, the United States and Germany. This is why I particularly enjoy multicultural family gatherings. Therefore, I enjoy receiving inquiries from couples getting married in France.
Will we take group photos?
We’ve all experienced those endless group photo sessions as guests, standing in the heat of the afternoon. I promise to spare you from that!
That being said, I do believe group photos are important, as your wedding day is one of those rare moments when all your loved ones are gathered together. However, when it comes to group photos, I focus on quality over quantity—ensuring they are meaningful, efficient, and enjoyable for everyone.
Do you offer photo booths? Do you have a drone? Do you do video?
The photographic approach I offer is highly demanding and requires full dedication throughout the entire day. To capture the most powerful moments of your wedding, I need to be 100% focused on my reportage.
I am not a wedding videographer or a selfie booth provider—I am a photographer, fully committed to documenting your day through my lens.

What are your rates?
The price of a wedding photography service depends on many factors. I will provide you with all the details about my rates and general terms when we meet.
